Brightpath Community Foundation is inviting civic-minded professionals to join our Board of Directors and help guide the next chapter of our mission.

Our Mission

Building Opportunity for Every Member of Our Community

Founded in 2009, Brightpath Community Foundation works to eliminate barriers to education, economic mobility, and wellness for underserved populations across the greater [City] region. Through direct programming, strategic partnerships, and community advocacy, we address root causes — not just symptoms.

In 2025 alone, our programs reached over 12,400 individuals, distributed $1.8 million in direct community grants, and supported 47 local nonprofit partners. We are growing — and our board must grow with us.

Board Service Overview

What Board Membership Involves

Meetings and Time Commitment

Board members attend [X] full board meetings per year, held quarterly in person with optional virtual attendance. Committee participation requires an additional [X] hours per month.

Committee Expectations

All board members serve on at least one standing committee, which may include Finance, Programs, Development, Governance, or Community Engagement. Committee assignments are matched to your expertise and interest.

Annual Giving Requirement

Board members are expected to make a personal annual contribution of [$X,XXX minimum] and actively participate in our annual fundraising campaign through personal outreach and donor cultivation.
