Required Gear Checklist

All participants must arrive with the following items. Failure to bring required gear may result in removal from the tour without refund.

Hiking Boots

Sturdy, broken-in, ankle-support trail boots — no trail runners

Water Capacity

Minimum 3 liters — hydration bladder or bottles

Trekking Poles

Strongly recommended for descent from the cables section

Headlamp

With fresh batteries — mandatory for pre-dawn departure

Layered Clothing

Moisture-wicking base layer, insulating mid-layer, wind shell

Sun Protection

SPF 50+ sunscreen, UV-blocking sunglasses, wide-brim hat

Emergency Contact Required

All participants must submit an emergency contact before June 1, 2026. This information is required by park regulations and our guide team for your safety in the backcountry.

Cancellation Policy

Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the tour date (by May 24, 2026). Cancellations within 14 days of departure are non-refundable. To cancel or transfer your booking, contact our team at bookings@summittrailadventures.com.
