Late returns are subject to an additional day charge of $30.00 per day. Please contact us in advance if your return timeline changes.

Damage Policy

Normal Wear vs. Damage

Normal wear and tear is expected and covered. You are responsible for damage resulting from misuse, negligence, or failure to follow care instructions. Damage charges will be assessed at replacement cost and deducted from your security deposit.

Not Covered by Deposit

The following are excluded and billed separately if applicable: torn or burned tent fabric, broken tent poles due to improper setup, sleeping bags returned wet or with mildew damage, and lost items. Replacement costs range from $40 to $180 per item.

Gear Care Requirements

All gear must be returned clean and dry. Please pack out the tent and sleeping bags loosely - do not compress sleeping bags tightly for storage during the rental period. Trekking pole tips must be present on return.
